 Qi yu hei lun (旗魚黑輪/旗鱼黑轮) (pinyin with tones: qí yú hēi lún) is a kind of tempura, which is made with swordfish paste and 1/4 boiled egg wrapped inside. Qi yu hei lun is deep fried into golden brown and has a firm and chewy texture. You can find qi yu hei lun in Donggang (東港), Pingtung (屏東), where qi yu hei lun originates in. There are other places you can find qi yu hei lun like night markets or around temples, but it is not like other snacks that you can easily find everywhere all over Taiwan.
