Cong You Pai (蔥油派) Green Onion Pie
Cong You Pai (蔥油派) Green Onion Pie
Cong you pai (蔥油派) (pinyin with tones: cōng yóu pài), green onion pie, is a street snack that looks like cong you bing (蔥油餅, scallion pancake). Cong you pai is also made of dough and green onions but is thicker and smaller like a disk. Compared with cong you bing, cong you pai has even more green onions/scallions and has crispier skin. You can find it in night markets, breakfast shops, street vendors, or supermarkets in frozen package.
