Qie Zi Fei Chang Bao (茄子肥腸煲) Braised Pork Intestine With Eggplant
Qie zi fei chang bao (茄子肥腸煲) (pinyin with tones: qié zi féi cháng bāo), or sometimes named fei chang qie zi bao (肥腸茄子煲), is braised pork intestine with eggplant. It is basically braised with soy sauce or thick soy sauce with rice wine. Sometimes people use dou ban jiang (豆瓣醬, bean paste) with chili to replace soy sauce. Qie zi fei chang bao goes so well with rice. It is also popular in restaurants and re chao dian (熱炒店/热炒店, stir fry restaurant).
