Hai xian hui mian (海鮮燴麵/海鲜烩面) (pinyin with tones: hǎi xiān huì miàn) is like hai xian tang mian (海鮮湯麵/海鲜汤面, seafood noodles soup) but contains less soup which is thickened by cornstarch or potato starch. Moreover, the ingredients in hai xian hui mian are sautéed and stir fried first, and then boiled with water and some sauce, so the flavor and the smell is stronger. You can find hai xian hui mian in restaurants or some specialty shops that sell hui fan (燴飯/烩饭) and hui mian (燴麵/烩面).
