Xian dou jiang (鹹豆漿/咸豆浆) (pinyin with tones: xián dòu jiāng) is soy milk made into salty taste. It is commonly found in traditional breakfast shops. Xian dou jiang is basically made of heated sugar-free soy milk, with some rice vinegar, soy sauce, and some ingredients like you tiao (油條, deep-fried bread stick), dried radishes, dried shrimps, pork floss, and chopped green onions. Some people will add spicy oil to make it zesty. Some of the soy milk will solidify because it happens when heated soy milk encounters rice vinegar, which increases xian dou jiang another taste.
